Terrarium Care Instructions

Tropical Terrarium

Light: Place in bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight to prevent overheating.

Watering: A healthy terrarium should have light condensation on the walls during the day, which disappears by evening. If there is too much condensation, remove the lid for a few hours to let excess moisture escape. If there is no condensation, lightly mist the plants and soil with distilled or filtered water. Avoid overwatering, as stagnant water can lead to root rot and mold.

Temperature: Maintain a warm environment, ideally between 18-24°C

Pruning: You can trim back any overgrown plants to maintain balance/avoid crowding

Desert Terrarium

Light: Place in bright, direct sunlight or under a grow light for at least 6 hours a day.

Watering: Water sparingly; allow soil to dry completely between waterings.

Ventilation: Keep the terrarium open or ventilate regularly to prevent excess humidity.

Temperature: Maintain a warm environment, ideally between 21-29°C.

Pruning: Remove dead leaves and debris to prevent rot and keep plants healthy

Mossarium

Light: Place in low to medium indirect light; avoid direct sunlight to prevent burning.

Watering: Check the glass for light condensation, which indicates proper humidity levels. If there’s excessive condensation, remove the lid for a few hours to allow excess moisture to escape. If there’s no condensation, lightly mist the moss with distilled or rainwater using a spray bottle.

Ventilation: Open the mossarium occasionally to remove condensation.

Temperature: Keep in a cool to moderate environment, ideally between 16-24°C.

Maintenance: You can trim overgrown moss if you want.
