We are Katy and Aysha and our love for a plant filled life, a greener path and a healthier world has created ‘greenka’. We are two busy mums in London taking a chance and following our dreams. Our love for the outdoors, a wish to create something new and a burning desire for houseplants brought us together on this venture into the world of plants.

We started this journey in 2018 with research into what West London had to offer in terms of exotic and unusual indoor houseplants. Looking into markets, flower shops, garden centers, various online shops and not being able to find what we wanted, we decided to source these plants ourselves. But with a greater wish to bring these plants to other plants enthusiastic people had grown more as we went along. We decided to create a little world of our own.

Our wish is to create a happier and a more sustainable environment, with eco friendly product and packaging. We also love to support local business, our fellow entrepreneurial women and always keep an eye out for exciting collaborations or art by local artists. You will find us in markets in West London, always talking about plants and advising plant care. This is why a major part of our website is about aftercare of plants you purchase from us and their background so you can keep your plants alive and healthy for a very long time.
