The variegated Frydek, is a striking tropical plant admired for its velvety, arrow-shaped leaves marked with crisp white veins and splashes of creamy variegation. Its bold contrast and soft texture give it a luxurious, almost painted appearance.

☀️- She thrives in bright, indirect light. Good light is essential to maintain her variegation, but avoid direct sunlight as this can scorch the delicate leaves. Lower light may cause slower growth and reduced variegation.

💧- Prefers lightly moist soil. Water when the top inch or two of soil is dry, keeping the compost evenly moist but never soggy. Reduce watering in the cooler months, and avoid letting the plant sit in water.

🌡️- Ideal temperatures are 18–26°C. She enjoys warmth and high humidity, so keep away from cold draughts. Temperatures below 15°C can cause stress or dormancy.

🪴- Use a rich, well-draining, airy compost such as a mix with bark, perlite, and peat-free compost. Repot every 1–2 years or when roots begin to outgrow the pot, ideally during spring.

✂️- Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves to maintain appearance. It is normal for older leaves to die back as new growth emerges.

🐾- Not pet friendly.
