Commonly known as Watch Chain, Crassula Lycopodioides is a really cute and compact, architectural succulent with tightly packed, overlapping leaves that resemble the links of a chain. Its bright green, upright stems form dense, geometric clusters that give it a striking, sculptural look. Like all succulents, she is low maintenance and quirky.
☀️ - Prefers bright, indirect light to full sun. It will do best on a sunny windowsill or in a bright spot indoors. Too little light can cause leggy growth and dull colouring. Gradually acclimate it to stronger sunlight to avoid scorching.
💧 - Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the quickest way to kill this plant. During winter, water very lightly and only when the leaves start to wrinkle slightly.
🌡️ - Thrives in warm, dry conditions between 18-26°C. It can tolerate cooler temperatures down to around 10°C but must be kept dry in colder weather. Avoid humidity and cold draughts.
🪴 - Use a free-draining cactus or succulent mix in a small pot with good drainage. Repot every 2-3 years in spring, only moving up one pot size.
🐾 - Not pet friendly.
