Adiantum Raddi. 'Fragrans' | Maiden Hair Fern
Dainty, soft, flurry and pale green fronds on black wiry stems. As she grows the top fronds start to arch over. An absolutely beautiful fern from Brazil that brings tremendous joy to some and awful dread to others. We understand completely! She’s not the easiest to care for, but once you get the lighting and watering right, she is a plant to keep!
Ferns are often used to create a calming atmosphere. They are known to purify air and regulate humidity and often used as a foliage background or to soften darker corners.
Size: 12cm nursery pot

Light - Moderate light requirements, anywhere from bright, indirect sunlight to light shade, such as filtered through a curtain.
Water - Keep the soil moist at all times - she does not like her roots to dry at all! Water when the surface becomes slightly dry. Do not overwater and use lukewarm, soft water where possible.
Temperature - Average household temperatures 16-24C, but no lower than 10C. Avoid cold draughts.
Humidity - These ferns prefer higher humidity levels and don't do well in dry air conditions. Do not place it near radiators etc. Raise humidity by misting or using a humidifier.
Repotting/Soil - Just go slightly up in pot size when repotting and water a couple of days before. Make sure you have rich potting soil, don’t pot too deeply. Tap the soil around the roots to remove air pockets, then water thoroughly. Place the plant in partial shade or indirect light for a couple of days, then move it to its normal location and resume regular care.
Toxicity - Pet friendly.
