Aloe Vera
Long bright green and plump leaves with tiny harmless spikes along their sides. Some white spattered variegation through the leaves is natural. Native to Africa, Madagascar, and the Arabian Peninsula, this is a wonderfully easy plant to care for and is said to purify the air of toxins.
So famous as ‘the healing plant’ with many health benefits. The clear gel inside can soothe insect bites, fade old scars, get rid of those pesky black circles, bring back lustre to your hair or treat sunburn. We can’t guarantee our plants will give you a makeover, but we can promise they will look beautiful in your windowsill.

Light - Bright light with some morning sun is ideal. Be careful not to place it in the hot sun, as this will scorch the leaves on your plant.
Watering - Take care not to overwater and ensure the soil dries out completely before watering deeply each time. If Aloe Vera is allowed to sit in wet soil, the roots will quickly develop root rot.
Temperature - Normal room temperature between 18-24°C is recommended. Aloe Vera can tolerate being out on a balcony, but bring her in over the colder months.
Repotting - Aloe Vera loves to grow and spread her roots. Choose a cactus potting soil mix or a regular potting soil that has been amended with additional perlite or building sand.
Toxicity - Toxic to pets
