☀️ - Calatheas are used to having dappled light on the floors of the rainforests. Will like bright indirect light. Keep out of direct sun as this can cause the leaves to fade.
💧 - Keep the soil slightly damp not soggy. Water when the top layer of soil feels dry making sure the plant is not sat in water, reduce during winter. Calathea will prefer rain or filtered water. This plant loves high humidity so misting every couple of days is a must.

Among the most popular houseplants on the market, this Pinstripe Calathea is a statement prayer plant! Oval glossy leaves in deep dark green with pink stripes in a fishbone pattern all across the top. The underside of the leaves are dark purple and visible as the leaves fold up in “prayer” at night. Calathea Sanderiana is native to South America, but is also found in many subtropical climates. This is not the easiest plant to care for, but definitely among the most stunning.
