Light - Happy to be in dappled light but will have better growth in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves. Wipe the leaves now and again to boost photosynthesis and to keep the leaves glossy and clear.
Water - Let the soil dry out slightly between watering but not to a crisp. Water deeply each time, preferably with rainwater or tap water you’ve left to stand overnight. Avoid the roots sitting in water.
Temperature - Normal room temperature is ideal but avoid cold draughts.
Repotting - Robusta likes to be slightly pot bound - remember it is a tree. Use well-draining soil that provides plenty of aeration. Ideal time for repotting is April/May.
Toxicity - Toxic to pets. If you get the white sap on your hands, wash with warm water.
