Zamioculcas Zamiifolia - ZZ Plant
☀️- This is a shade tolerant houseplant. Happy anywhere from low to bright light. Will thrive in sunlight as well.
💧- Water deeply once a month and let the soil dry out completely between watering. Highly drought tolerant plant that thrives on neglect.
🌡️- Thrives in temperatures between 18°C to 24°C. It can tolerate lower temperatures but should be protected from frost and temperatures below 10°C.
🪴- ZZ plants grow from large, thick rhizomes that resemble potatoes. These rhizomes store water, which is why the plant does well during droughts and places where forgetful owners live. These can be separated and replanted for propagation, but be aware they like to be rootbound. Keep in a well-draining soil preferably mixed with perlite.
🐾- Not pet friendly.

This plant is the ideal “first plant” and all she wants is to be left alone. She will survive your neglect, rather prefers it. With strong stems, glossy green leaves that zig zag upwards this Zanzibar gem will have light green new leaves that darken as they mature. ZZ has air purifying qualities, removing volatile organic compounds benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene.
Please note: these plants like to be pot bound and the grow pots can often be distorted into an oval shape. They do not need to be repotted immediately
Size: 12cm; 14cm; 17cm nursery pot.
