Light - Ficus lyrata prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate some light shade and some direct (but not harsh or midday) morning or afternoon sun.

Water - Fiddle-leaf figs like a moderate amount of moisture in the soil. If the plant doesn’t get enough water, its leaves will wilt and lose their bright green color. And if it gets too much water, the plant might drop its leaves and suffer from root rot, which ultimately can kill it.

Humidity: No specific requirements, although the occasional misting wouldn’t go amiss.

Temperature:  Ideal temperatures are 16-24°C. Avoid cold draughts.

Repotting: Prefers free draining soil when repotting. A mix of rich soil, bark and perlite is a good balance for air and drainage.

Toxicity: Considered poisonous, therefore keep away from children and animals.
