Light - Hildewintera thrives in bright, indirect light. Place it near a window with filtered sunlight or provide artificial grow lights for optimal growth. Avoid exposing it to prolonged intense sunlight, as this can cause sunburn and damage the plant.
Watering - Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the active growing season (spring and summer), water immediately when dry, but reduce watering in the dormant winter months to prevent root rot.
Temperature - Maintain moderate temperatures between 15-27°C for Hildewintera. Protect it from frost and cold drafts, as it prefers consistent conditions. Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 10°C, as this can damage the plant.
Repotting - Repot when it outgrows its container or every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining cactus potting mix and a container with drainage holes.
Toxicity - Pet friendly
