Light - This flowering plant can grow in low, medium and bright light conditions, but needs bright, morning sun in order to power its spurs. These spurs produce this plant’s beautiful blooms.
Water - Allow the top half of soil to dry out between watering, and water through. Allow to drain completely before transferring to decorative pots. Over-watering will kill the plant. Water sparingly in winter.
Temperature - Normal room temperature 18-24°C, prefers warmth but not drafty.
Soil - A rich, well-drained potting mix is good.
Toxicity - not poisonous, but can cause vomiting.
