☀️ - Bright, indirect light is best. It will tolerate moderate shade, but variegation may fade in low light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
💧 - Keep the soil evenly damp at root level, allowing most of the soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering slightly in winter. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
🌡️ - Prefers warm conditions between 18-26°C and should be kept away from draughts or sudden temperature changes. Enjoys moderate to high humidity.
🪴 - Repot every 1-2 years in spring, going up only one pot size. Use a rich, well-draining, peat-free mix. Water a day before repotting.
🐾 - Highly toxic to pets and humans. Can cause irritation to skin and mouth - handle with care.
Commonly known as Dumb Cane, Dieffenbachia Compacta is a compact variety with broad, glossy leaves marked with cream, yellow, and soft green variegation. Its dense, upright growth habit makes it ideal for smaller spaces while still delivering a lush, tropical feel. Native to the tropical forests of Central and South America, it’s an easy-care plant that thrives indoors with the right balance of light and moisture.
Note: We recommend that you avoid this plant around children and animals as the sap and transpiration drops can cause serious harm.
