Euphorbia ingens, commonly known as the Candelabra Tree, is a striking succulent native to Southern Africa. With its tall, upright branches and sculptural silhouette, it is often mistaken for a cactus, but it is actually a Euphorbia. Its architectural form and easy-going nature make it a fantastic statement plant for bright homes and modern interiors.

As she matures, she develops multiple branching stems, creating the distinctive candelabra shape that gives the plant its common name.

☀️- She thrives in bright light and enjoys several hours of direct sun each day. A sunny windowsill, conservatory, or bright room will help maintain strong, healthy growth.

💧- Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly during spring and summer, then reduce watering significantly in winter when growth slows. Overwatering is one of the most common causes of problems.

🌡️- Ideal temperatures are 18-30°C. She prefers warm, dry conditions and should be protected from cold temperatures and frost.

🪴- Use a very free-draining cactus or succulent compost with added grit or perlite. Repot only when necessary, ideally during spring.

🐾- Not pet friendly. The sap is toxic if ingested and can cause irritation to pets and humans.
