Ficus Pumila, commonly known as Creeping Fig or Climbing Fig, is a versatile and low-maintenance vine that is popular for its trailing and climbing growth habit. Native to East Asia, this plant is often used for its decorative, dense foliage, making it an attractive choice for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
☀️ - Provide bright, indirect light for your Ficus Pumila. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but optimal growth occurs in bright, filtered sunlight. Avoid exposing it to harsh, direct sunlight for extended periods, as this may scorch the leaves.
💧 - Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering. Keep the soil consistently moist during the growing season, reducing watering in the winter when the plant's growth slows. Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogged soil.
🌡️ - Maintain a temperature range between 15-26°C. Ficus Pumila is sensitive to temperature extremes and should be protected from drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations. It can tolerate slightly lower temperatures for short periods.
🪴 - Repot your Ficus Pumila when it outgrows its current container or becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix, and choose a container with drainage holes. Repotting is best done in spring to encourage new growth.
