Size: 12cm nursery pot
☀️ - Prefers bright, indirect light to bring out its silver markings and encourage strong growth. It will tolerate moderate light but may lose colour and become leggy. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
💧 - Water when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry. Keep evenly moist during the growing season, reducing slightly in winter. Always allow excess water to drain away to prevent root rot.
🌡️ - Thrives in warm conditions between 18-26°C and should not be exposed to temperatures below 13°C. Appreciates higher humidity to maintain fresh, vibrant foliage.
🪴 - Repot every 1-2 years in spring, moving up just one pot size. Use a chunky, well-draining, peat-free mix with added bark or perlite for aeration..
🐾 - Toxic to pets.
Commonly known as Silver Monstera, Monstera Siltepecana is a striking climbing species native to the rainforests of Mexico and Central America. Juvenile leaves are elongated and decorated with silvery-blue markings that darken with age. As the plant matures and climbs, the leaves become larger, lose much of their silver sheen, and develop fenestrations. Its fast-growing, trailing habit makes it perfect for hanging baskets, or it can be trained up a moss pole to reveal its dramatic adult form.
