Sansevieria 'Futura Superba', commonly known as Snake Plant, is a compact and architectural variety similar to Laurentii, but with a more curvaceous form and shorter, broader leaves. Its upright, sword-shaped foliage is deep green with lighter green striping or mottling, forming a dense, uniform rosette that suits modern interiors beautifully.
☀️- She thrives in bright, indirect light but is highly adaptable and can tolerate lower light conditions. A position with filtered sunlight will maintain strong growth, though she will also cope well in shadier spaces such as offices.
💧- Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, ensuring excess water drains freely, and avoid letting the plant sit in water as this can lead to root rot.
🌡️- Ideal temperatures are 15–27°C. She prefers a stable environment, so keep away from cold draughts and avoid extreme temperature changes.
🪴- Use a well-draining compost, ideally a cactus or succulent mix. Repot when rootbound or outgrowing its pot, typically every 2–3 years.
🐾- Not pet friendly.
